Streamer FaZe Jason was so impressed with a family’s hospitality that he gifted them £5,800, but only if they agreed to get under the clippers first.
While some livestreamers rely on doing edgy stunts to attract an audience on platforms such as Twitch, Kick, and YouTube – like setting off firework in the middle of a Walmart – others have a less disruptive approach.
One streamer with a more relaxed style of content creation is FaZe Jason, who recently accepted an invite to a fan’s family dinner.
As a thanks for their hospitality, Jason ended up gifting two family members a total of £5,800, in what has to be one of the most wholesome moments on Twitch this year.
The streamer was doing a particularly long stream when he met a fan in public, who asked if Jason could Facetime his dad, who he said was a fan.
It’s unclear if he was initially joking, but Jason obliged andasked if he could join them for their next family dinner, to which his dad said yes.
Jason accepted the invitation, as he had nothing else to do, and, to the family’s surprise, made the short trip over.
His livestream was showing on the family TV when Jason and his friend arrived, as they all tucked into a homemade meal.
To thank them for their hospitality, Jason offered the dad $5,000 (£3,900) if he shaved his head, which the dad accepted, saying that he wanted Jason to be the one to use the clippers.

Coincidentally, the dad then also mentioned that he had cancer – stage 3 lymphoma – that he had ‘somewhat’ beaten.
The shaving session didn’t stop there though, as the dad’s nephew was offered $2,500 (£1,900) for the same treatment, which he accepted after some deliberation.
Even before Jason’s £5,800 gift, he had been told by the dad that he was part of the family and that he could always ‘hit them up’ if was in Austin, Texas, again.
