Gogglebox icons Sandra Martin and Sandi Bogle have addressed a possible return to the Channel 4 programme.

The reality stars were part of the original cast when the beloved show launched in 2013, before quitting within months of each other in 2016.

However, they’re still capitalising on their fame, and are now even looking at Netflix for future TV work.

Speaking to The Sun, Sandra, 62, said: ‘To tell you the honest truth, I would rather us now be on Netflix at the moment.

‘But you will be seeing us doing something together again in the future!’

When asked if a return to Gogglebox was on the cards, it’s said Sandi remained coy, before teasing fans ‘may’ see them back again as TV sofa critics on the fan-favourite show.

This comes after Sandra revealed she was living off ‘celebrity loans’ that she doesn’t pay back.

Before signing up to Gogglebox, Sandra had ‘been on benefits for years’ but soon found herself living with celebrity life with red carpet events and being sent freebies.

After quitting the programme however, she shared that she was on benefits again, and earlier this year told The Sun that she had ‘no money’ and was ‘technically homeless’.

She was still being treated to multiple holidays though, thanks to the kindness of strangers, including paid-for trips to hotspots including Amsterdam, Portugal and Benidorm.

She said earlier this year: ‘I get a lot of hate for it because I’m always on planes but people gift these trips to me. It’s a miracle really, they must have spent thousands of pounds on me.’

Giving her theory on why viewers are paying for her holidays, Sandra continued: ‘People love me and I give them entertainment so they pay for my trips.

‘It’s because I’ve got such a large platform, I’m on social media every day and talk to my fans. People are bored and I cheer them up.’

Sandra explained that she had not worked for two years because of ill health, and also said she couldn’t work a normal job because of her fame.

She added: ‘I get stopped every day. If I got a job in Tesco the queue would be out of the door due to my fans, they wouldn’t be able to cope.’

‘I’ve gone from Brixton to the Baftas to benefits and now I’m broke but at least I’m happy and busy even though I’m technically homeless, have no money or anything,’ she went on.

Sandra continued on Gogglebox after Sandi’s departure, joined by her daughter on the sofa instead, but quit to seek out other career opportunities, including a stretch on Celebrity Big Brother.
