Brooklyn Beckham is in hospital with a broken shoulder.
The eldest child of Victoria and David Beckham took to social media with the news, as he posed in a hospital bed selfie and wrote: ‘Broke my shoulder but all good cause I have @nicolaannepeltzbeckham to look after me xx love you babe.’
Followers and friends flocked to support the 25-year-old in the comments section, as Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor wrote: ‘I’ve done that. It’s brutal. Get well soon.’
‘Speedy recovery , very debilitating having such an injury,’ wrote heatherholyland, while michelleallen44 said: ‘Ouch hope you are ok.’
Brooklyn didn’t reveal how he sustained the injury.
This update comes in a particularly turbulent time for Brooklyn and Nicola, as she is suing an LA dog groomer after their pet chihuahua Nala’s death last month.
The 29-year-old actress has filed a lawsuit, seen by E! News, claiming death was caused by an alleged ‘intentional and malicious abuse’ at the hands of the groomer.
It added: ‘Nala went into the grooming van, a happy, healthy dog, but returned injured and in severe physical distress – breathing heavily and wheezing, with her chest pulsating. Nala’s tongue was blue, she had fluid in her lungs, and she suffered neurological damage.
‘Nala was put on oxygen and cared for as Nicola distressingly and emotionally witnessed her dog suffer.’
Posting on social media this week, Nicola and Brooklyn could be seen crouching down in front of a tiny grave remembering Nala at a funeral they put on for her.
Nicola and Brooklyn tied the knot in April 2022 having got engaged just six or so months into their relationship.
The pair were initially linked in 2019, and Brooklyn popped the question in July 2020 after the pair had quarantined together during the Covid pandemic.
The pair said ‘I do’ at Nicola’s sprawling family home in Palm Beach, Florida.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s star-studded guest list included, of course, Brooklyn’s parents David and Victoria Beckham and his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and little sister Harper.
The lavish day is estimated to have cost around $3 million (£2.3 million) and ultimately involved three wedding planners in a bid to ensure their 500 guests had a good time.
But things didn’t turn out like a complete fairytale, as Nicola’s 81-year-old billionaire businessman father Nelson Peltz filed a lawsuit against one of the wedding planners, who reportedly refused to return a $159,000 (£125,000) deposit after they parted ways just nine days into the job.
