Singer, TV personality, and now an eco-friendly queen, La Toya Jackson truly is a legend as she was spotted flying on a commercial jet despite being worth millions.
La Toya is estimated to be worth a huge $4million (£3.1million) while the Jackson family fortune is thought to be anywhere upwards of $1billion (£782.1million).
However, saving some cash, the 68-year-old icon was spotted arriving in Basel, Switzerland, as she disembarked an Easyjet flight from Palma, Spain.
Unlike the huge expense of jetting around in contentious private planes, La Toya’s journey generally costs between 100€ and 200€ (£116 – £230).
Reportedly the sister of Michael Jackson was given the VIP treatment by the budget airline and allowed to leave the plane first.
Rocking a huge sunhat, she headed with two companions to a car waiting on the tarmac for her in true diva fashion.
While instantly recognisable, La Toya kept things low-key with her tight black tracksuit with white details and large sunglasses with a gold chain.
Of course, the whole look was completed with her long blonde hair in loose waves and a small kitten-heel shoe.
The star — who rose to fame on the reality show The Jacksons in the 70s — rarely makes public appearances nowadays but was in Mallorca for various events.
This included a Remus Lifestyle Night event thrown by real estate broker Marcel Remus, which she arrived at in a stunning red gown.
She also posted a luxurious video of herself wrapped in a dressing gown and towel, pouring some champagne as she overlooked the city and sea.
‘Relaxing and enjoying the lovely weather in Majorca,’ La Toya wrote on Instagram with Tekno’s Enjoy playing over the clip.
The high-end hotel is a stark contrast to the budget flight she took when leaving the country.
In another video she gave a tour of her very fancy hotel, showing off the beach-front balcony as she said she hoped fans ‘like what they see’ because it’s ‘really nice’.
This trip comes as the biopic about her younger brother gets underway filming with Jessica Sula portraying La Toya.
Her nephew, Jafaar Jackson, is playing the king of pop in the film which is set to be released in cinemas on April 18, 2025.
