Margot Robbie almost managed to go incognito as she tucked into a Pret sandwich on the train.
The pregnant A-lister – who is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley – threw herself into the British commuter life as she was snapped in first class on an Edinburgh-bound train from London.
The couple were seen boarding the train from Kings Cross at around 9am on Monday, July 29, and they managed to go largely unnoticed.
They were both spotted in casual clothing, with the 34-year-old Barbie actress sporting a tank top, leggings and a dark baseball cap pulled down over her face.
Tom, also 34, appeared to be working away on his laptop while his wife enjoyed a sandwich on the journey.
She had a water bottle on the table in front of her, and looked to have even taken her shoes off for maximum comfort.
An anonymous employee of the train company, who took the photo, said: ‘I don’t think any other travellers recognised them.’
The staff member admitted they were ‘completely star-struck’, and they admitted Margot is their ‘biggest celebrity spot’ on the job.
They added: ‘I pointed her and Tom out to my work colleagues otherwise I think they wouldn’t have been spotted and travelled to their final destination unnoticed. I was completely star-stuck.
‘She’s absolutely stunning, even with barely any make-up on. It’s my absolute biggest celebrity spot to date – she’s A* royalty.’
The pair, who first started dating in 2013, have not publicly addressed the pregnancy speculation, although she appeared to be rocking a small baby bump as she was seen at Wimbledon in July.
They tied the knot at an intimate December ceremony in Australia’s Byron Bay back in 2018 after five years together, and they are known to keep their romance fairly private.
Sources confirmed to People that she is, indeed, expecting but the couple are yet to make any formal announcement.
