They were joined on the lavish yacht by a whole host of pals including Rochelle's sister and Love Island star Katie Piper, 25.

The couple enjoyed a rare break from their beloved children Alaia-May, 11, Valentina, seven, and Blake, three.

Marvin arrived toting a huge bottle of wine for the celebrations as they all partied on deck while taking in the stunning views.

It comes after Rochelle has opened up about the surprising secret product her hairdresser mum used on her long locks while growing up.

The former Saturday's singer said she struggled to find products 'on the shelf for her hair type' when she was younger and so her mum used to put 'fabric conditioner' in her hair.

She admitted she was shocked she never 'got a rash' from the washing product but joked that her hair 'smelt amazing'.

Speaking to Caroline Hirons on her new podcast Glad We Had This Chat, Rochelle said: 'So my mum was a hairdresser and compared to now, the stuff that was on the shelf for my hair type was, I mean, there just wasn't anything.

'And my mum would have to drive from Essex to another side of London, where the community was probably a little bit more diverse, where we could find products for me.

'So my mum used to put fabric conditioner in. I mean I used to smell amazing. I mean I'm not sure how I didn't get a rash, but I don't know what the allergens would look like now.

'She used to put fabric conditioner and warm water in like a garden spray pump. And literally that's what my hair care regime was.'

Rochelle was raised by her white mother Roz, in a council house in Barking, East London, after her Jamaican-born father Mark Piper left when she was a baby.

When she was younger, Rochelle felt ‘embarrassed’ about being a mixed-race child in an all-white family.

‘Me and my sister looked completely different – she is white and I am half-black,’ she has said in the past. ‘I used to feel I had to explain everything: “This is my sister. I know we don’t look alike.”

‘I’d come with this whole disclaimer defending what people saw because I was worried people would think: “Oh, what’s going on there then?”’

She has since built a relationship with her three grown-up half-siblings, Sophie, Lili and Jake, describing them as ‘one big blended family’.

But she still doesn’t speak to her father, although she insists she has forgiven him, and he doesn’t know his grandchildren: ‘He hasn’t ever reached out to me and I haven’t reached out to him.’

At 12-years-old she was catapulted into the spotlight, performing as one-eighth of S Club Juniors – the all-singing-all-dancing spin-off act from pop group S Club 7.

The band, whose members ranged in age from ten to 13, were chosen from thousands of hopefuls through rigorous auditions on a 2001 TV series, and released a series of wholesome, catchy pop hits before disbanding in 2004.

She later joined The Saurdays in 2007 before the band went their separate ways to focus on their solo careers.
