Paul Mescal was spotted passionately kissing co-star Jessie Buckley as they were seen on set for the first time filming their new drama Hamnet on Wednesday.
The Normal People actor, 28, stars as young William Shakespeare while Jessie, 34, will play his wife Agnes, in a big-screen version of Maggie O'Farrell's novel Hamnet.
Paul was seen grabbing the actresses, 34, face as they kissed in the street on the set of the new Shakespearean drama.
The pair looked emotional in scenes as they hugged two small children while packing on the PDA before Paul looked to leave his family.
Paul was dressed in a grey shirt and waistcoat which he tucked into a pair of navy trousers and knee high leather boots.

He was seen beaming and rubbing his face as he walked away from his family carrying a large backpack.
Meanwhile Jessie, who portrays Shakespeare's wife Agnes in the drama, was seen wearing a red and orange long dress.
She beamed as she watched Paul hug the two children before planting a kiss on the one little girls head.
Paul and Jessie seemed in good spirits as they filmed at the old fashioned set, which is based in the Elizabethan Era.
The new drama, which is set to be released in 2025, will explore the Shakespeare's wife struggling to come to terms with the loss of their 11-year-old son, Hamnet to the plague.
The New York Times bestselling historical fiction novel charts the emotional, familial and artistic consequences of that loss, bringing to life a human and heart-stopping story.
Hamnet won the 2020 Women’s Prize for Fiction and the Fiction Prize at the 2020 National Book Critics Circle Awards and was shortlisted for the Walter Scott Prize and longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction.
Liza Marshall of Hera Pictures and Pippa Harris and Sam Mendes are producing the adaptation on behalf of Neal Street, who produced the Oscar-winning World War I pic 1917 along with Amblin.

Speaking to Vogue while promoting his film, All of Us Strangers, Paul called the novel Hamnet 'devastating'.
He said: 'I can't wait. If I told a younger version of myself that this would be [shooting] this year, I wouldn't believe it.'
Paul and Jessie were co-stars in Netflix's 2021 movie The Lost Daughter, but didn't share screen time. He said of Jessie: 'I think she's one of our present-day greats'.
Jessie's new role comes after she was spotted filming Maggie Gyllenhaal's The Bride in New York City earlier this year.
She was seen alongside co-star Christian Bale, who portrays Dr. Frankenstrein's Monster in the movie, as they performed their own stunts.
