Charli XCX appears to have created a Roblox account, according to the video game's official X (formerly Twitter) account.

On August 17 the game will launch as part of the upcoming Brat and Dress to Impress collaboration. Several in-game outfits and accessories will be added, created to complement Charli XCX's album-era fashion sense.

Roblox has even published an emote to the Marketplace called “Charli xcx - Apple Dance” and sources have said the artist has created an account.

One fan thinks she created an account just to play Dress to Impress with fans, tweeting: “It’s so she can play Dress to Impress with her baddies”.

Another user has joined in and said: “This is the most exciting thing that happened all week tbh”.

A third excited fan said: “OH CHARLI THE QUEEN YOU ARE”.

Dress to Impress initially hinted at the collaboration on their X account last week. They posted a picture of a Roblox DJ setup with a neon-green apple and the Brat title scribbled all over the stage.

Dress to Impress was launched on November 11, 2023, and it became one of the Roblox experiences with the fastest billion visits in a short period of time.

This is the latest endeavour for Charli XCX since she released Brat, which began with the hugely successful two-part Boiler Room sessions in Ibiza and New York, as well as her collaborations with Robyn, Billie Eilish, Lorde and Addison Rae. Since its release on June 7, the album has garnered critical recognition and commercial success.

It’s not the artist’s first time collaborating with Roblox. Charli XCX was previously nominated for “best metaverse performance” award at the MTV VMAs for a performance on Roblox in 2022.

It’s not known when the update will drop on Roblox.
