The cast of It Ends With Us is currently navigating intense feud rumours. Now, a reporter has added her two cents worth, seemingly calling out the film’s lead actress, Blake Lively, for poor behaviour.

Blake, 36, has been at the centre of the controversy surrounding the film, which is based on the Colleen Hoover book of the same name, with claims she and Justin Baldoni, 40, her co-star and the film’s director, are in the midst of an ongoing feud.

While Justin has tiptoed around the rumours, claiming in a ‘movie like this’ there is ‘always friction’, Blake has largely stayed silent on the matter and chosen not to address insider claims that Justin made her feel ‘uncomfortable’ about her postpartum body.

The two separate reactions have garnered differing opinions on social media, with some believing Justin is in the wrong and others siding against Blake.

And it seems the opinions aren’t isolated to fans. One journalist called Kjersti Flaa has claimed a sit-down with Blake was so ‘uncomfortable’ it made her want to ‘quit’ her job.

The journalist shared a video on YouTube from 2016 in which she sat down with the A Simple Favor actress and Parker Posey to discuss their then-recently released film, Cafe Society.

She titled the clip, ‘The Blake Lively interview that made me want to quit my job.’

At the time of the interview, Blake was pregnant with her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds’ second child, prompting Kjersti to offer her congratulations by saying: ‘First of all, congrats on your little bump.’

Blake appeared surprised by the comment, and instead of thanking the reporter, she sarcastically quipped back, ‘Congrats on your little bump.’

Seemingly sensing the tension, Parker quickly jumped in and made a joke of the situation, stating, ‘What about my bump?’ As she showed her bottom to the camera.

The three women then awkwardly conversed about their multiple ‘bumps’ together before continuing on with the interview.

However, things took yet another turn when Kjersti asked the actresses if they enjoyed wearing period-relevant clothes in the 1930s-set film.

‘Everyone wants to talk about the clothes, but I wonder if they would ask the men about the clothes,’ Blake said in a hostile tone, to which Kjersti said she would.

The clip has since gone viral, with many resharing it on other social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram and sharing their thoughts in the comments.

Nattij1212 said: ‘Asking about wardrobe for a period piece movie is a normal question! I’m so sorry they treated you this way.’

Angelinabaca added: ‘the fact that neither of them really make eye contact with the interviewer after she asked a question is so unbelievably rude.’

While Raissammo89 said: ‘As a fellow journalist, I’m so sorry for you, Kjersti. These people are way too entitled.’

Speaking to Daily Mail, Kjersti has revealed the impact of the interview, claiming it made her feel ‘like a complete failure’ and had her wondering if she even wanted to continue doing celebrity interviews.

‘It was such a traumatizing experience to me. I was there to do a job and they made sure to make it as difficult as possible for me to do that,’ she told the news outlet.

‘I felt belittled and ignored and it made me question if I ever wanted to do these types of interviews again,’ she said. ’It took me a while to get over it and build up my confidence again.’

The reporter continued to say she chose to share the interview now for no reason other than a fellow reporter had recently experienced a ‘terrible interview’ and asked her if she had ever gone through anything similar.

She claimed, ‘After talking to him I decided to post the interview on my YouTube channel because I think it’s time that people behaving badly in Hollywood, or anywhere else for that matter, gets called out for it. It’s not OK, even if you are rich and famous.’

Kjersti cleared up her reason for posting the video after social media users noticed a connection between her and other clients of Melissa Nathan, a PR crisis manager Justin hired amid the It Ends With Us fallout.

The reporter appeared to have posted a video in favour of Johnny Depp during his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard in 2022.

This isn’t the first tense interview involving Blake that has resurfaced in recent weeks as elsewhere, an interview in 2017 about her movie All I See Is You caused shock among fans.

While discussing the thriller, which follows Blake as a blind woman who regains her sight and makes disturbing discoveries about her marriage, the reporter asked the actress if she ‘feels free now to try everything’.

Blake had a surprised expression before questioning: ’What does that mean?’

The journalist then tried to rephrase the question; however, the star quickly shut him down, asking, ‘Did you see the movie?’ and adding, ‘We’re gonna give you a pop quiz at the end.’

In addition to the resurfaced interviews showcasing Blake’s behaviour and the alleged feud on the set of It Ends With Us, the actress has come under fire from fans for her seemingly light-hearted approach to promoting a film that includes heavy themes such as domestic violence.

During the multiple premieres and media interviews, the Gossip Girl alum has been seen promoting her new hair care range, speaking in depth about her character, Lily Bloom’s clothes, and, on the official It Ends With Us movie TikTok page, even encouraging viewers to ‘Grab your friends, wear your florals, and head out to see it.’
