Strictly Come Dancing viewers are worried that a live tour might not be on the cards for 2025 after spotting a noticeable clue.

There are weeks to go until the BBC competition commences, with stars including Nick Knowles, Pete Wicks, Tasha Ghouri and Toyah Willcox joining the cast for the 2024 series.

While we’re yet to find out which professional dancers the celebrities are going to be partnered with in the line-up, some are already looking ahead to next year’s live tour.

Every year, several of the stars who competed on the programme tour the UK with the pros for live shows attended by scores of avid fans.

A separate professionals tour also takes place, with the talented pro dancers taking to the stage to show off their prowess.

However, there is some concern that a tour might not be on the cards next year, with a fan called u/stressfulteapot writing on Reddit: ‘I’m curious if there’s going to be a Strictly The Professionals or a Strictly live tour next year.

‘Usually they would have announced it and probably had tickets on sale before now. A lot of the pros also seem to be doing their own solo shows next year.’

In response to the post, it was also pointed out that several of the professional dancers have already announced their own solo tours.

Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola will be doing their own tour titled Red Hot and Ready throughout June and July next year, while Nikita Kuzmin’s show Midnight Dancer is taking place from March until May.

Meanwhile, Kai Widdrington’s tour titled Evolution is scheduled for several dates across May and June.

Reddit user called Jess-FB wrote: ‘I don’t know if they’ll have enough pros for it. Dianne and Vito won’t have a lot of time to rehearse for their own tour, Nikita is doing his own tour that clashes with it, and Graziano obviously won’t be doing it, and while the latter two could be replaced with Aljaz and Kai, well, Kai is also doing his own tour that clashes with it.

‘So they might have decided to have a break next year. It’s a shame cause my first time going was this year and I really enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t want to go unless there was someone in it who I really wanted to see.’

U/ItsallProblematic agreed, remarking: ‘I don’t think it’s happening. There are so many individual tours that surely there aren’t enough pros to do it.’

However, u/JamesL25 added: ‘They normally aren’t announced until October.’

Despite the worry that some fans might be feeling about the live tour, or potential lack thereof, it appears that an update of some sort will be on the way soon.

On the website for the Strictly Come Dancing tour, which is a Stage Entertainment UK and Phil McIntyre Live production in association with BBC, it states: ‘Announcement on 2025 tour coming soon!’

It then prompts people who want the latest information to sign up to their email fanbase.
