Darby Allin has given Ricochet a word of warning about his move from WWE to All Elite Wrestling.

The former Intercontinental Champion left the sports entertainment giant at the end of June and made his shock debut for rival AEW during its All In London show at Wembley Stadium on Sunday night.

Speaking in London before Ricochet’s switch became official, thrill seeker Darby exclusively told Metro.co.uk how he would have to conduct himself to settle into his new home.

‘I’d like to wrestle with anybody that has a point to prove. So, yeah, if he has a point to prove, he’s got that chip on his shoulder, let’s do it,’ he said.

‘I don’t want to wrestle anybody that has this ego and they’re just gonna phone it in today. Like, that’s when I get pissed off. You know, people that are just so ungrateful.

‘I want to wrestle people that are grateful, and I want to wrestle people that have a chip on their shoulder.’

Ricochet is out of this world!

The high flying star left WWE when his contract expired at the end of June, bringing an end to his six-year run with the company.

Daredevil Darby, who ended up losing a Coffin Match against TNT Champion Jack Perry on Sunday evening, noted it’s not in Ricochet’s ‘DNA’ to ever give anything less than 100%.

‘Don’t come in here and expect that this is, like – take the night off and phone them in. Because I don’t think any of those – I don’t think he would ever do that. That’s not in his DNA to do that,’ he condeded.

‘But you know, other people that try to come here and treat it like summer vacation, like, get the f**k outta here!’

A lot of professional wrestling is based on trust, and Darby admitted he would be wary putting his ‘life on the line’ for someone who isn’t willing to give everything to AEW.

‘I don’t want to wrestle those people. I’m not going to put my life on the line for those people. But if people are actually like, I have a point to prove, I know what I’m capable of,’ he said.

‘I can see what AEW has given me, you know what I mean? I’ve had this chip on my shoulder, I’ve always had a chip on my shoulder, I think I always will, but it’s a healthy chip on my shoulder.’

Elsewhere at All In, WCW and WWE icon Sting made his AEW return to stop Jack Perry and the Young Bucks from setting Darby on fire, months after his retirement match.

‘The one thing the fans don’t get to see is how I was with him outside of the ring, and it was so fun just to be in his locker room and play these pranks on him,’ he told us as he reflected on their friendship.
