Noel and Liam Gallagher proved their relationship has well and truly healed by sharing a video focusing on their bond alongside Oasis' comeback gigs announcement.

The Gallagher brothers announced on Tuesday that they are reuniting their iconic band and performing four huge gigs at Wembley before touring the UK next summer.

After weeks of growing speculation about a comeback, the Manchester stars have finally put their 15-year feud on ice to announce they will be performing together again, 34 years after their first gig.

The band included a nostalgic video, which has already clocked up eight million views, as part of the announcement on social media under the emotive caption: 'This is it, this is happening'.

The video included footage of the band's iconic gigs in the nineties and noughties as well as home video of backstage moments.

Focusing on Noel, 57, and Liam's, 54, fractious relationship over the past 30 years, Noel is heard saying in a voiceover: 'Me and him are like telepathic you know what I mean? I know my brother better than anybody else.'

Liam adds: 'When both come together you have greatness.'

Speaking over footage of the huge crowds at Oasis' gigs, the brothers declare: 'We made people feel something that was indefinable. I'd do it all again in a f**king heartbeat.'

The video ends with the words: 'This is it, this is happening. People will never, ever forget the way that you make them feel.'

Wednesday will mark 15 years since Noel quit Oasis 'with great relief' following a backstage bust-up in Paris saying: 'I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.'

Formed in the 1990s, the Britpop group rose to fame with hits like Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger and Stop Crying Your Heart Out, going on to become arguably one of the biggest bands in British music history.

But Noel and Liam's relationship has kept them in the fame game long after the hits were written.

After 15 years of fights and walk-outs Oasis split at their final concert in Paris - Rock En Seine after yet another backstage bust-up.

According to reports an argument broke out, with Liam wielding Noel's guitar around 'like an axe'.

It was the last straw for the duo and the show was cancelled, along with the rest of the tour.

The reunion comes after Noel's £20m divorce from ex-wife Sara MacDonald last year, with the elder Gallagher said to have been persuaded of the financial merits of getting the band together.

A thawing of a relations between the brothers and Noel's single status is also no coincidence, with Liam famously not a fan of Sara, whom Noel married two years after Oasis' 2009 split.

Liam teased the iconic Britpop band's reunion during his headline set at Reading Festival on Sunday, before he and his older sibling, 57, revealed an announcement would be made on Tuesday 8.00am after a cryptic and identical post was shared to their social media accounts.

These are the shows that Oasis will be performing at. It's understood Glastonbury is not on the cards

During his headline slot at Reading, Liam performed a number of Oasis hits from their debut album Definitely Maybe to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Introducing Half The World Away - a 1994 B-side that also featured as the theme tune to sitcom The Royle Family - he told revellers: 'I wanna dedicate this song to Noel f**king Gallagher.'

Liam continued to keep fans guessing by dedicating his rendition of Cigarettes & Alcohol at the Reading Festival to people who hate Oasis.

The track, written by his older brother, was the final single on their 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe.

Oasis has been promised a payday of £50 million to reform and embark on a global tour.

The eye-watering sum is said to have convinced warring brothers Noel and Liam to bury the hatchet 15 years after they last appeared on stage together.

Despite speculation that Oasis will be on the bill at Glastonbury 2025, it's understood the band will not be performing at Worthy Farm. However, plans are underway for Oasis to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.

The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement as fans were sent into a frenzy.

Tickets to see the Don't Look Back In Anger hitmakers will go on sale in the UK from 9am on August 31, while Dublin tickets will be available from 8am on the same day.

Oasis fans have hailed it as the 'ticket bloodbath of the century' and have vowed 'to go to war' to get their hands on them. Others have fumed that it is set to be a complete 'free-for-all' because there appears to be no pre-sale links and it is simply one big general sale.
