The time has finally come: Oasis tickets are up for grabs on general sale with gates opening at 9am BST today after last night’s pre-sale scramble – but fans are complaining of ticketing ‘chaos’ with many dubbing it a ‘shambles’.

‘Let the bloodbath begin,’ declared ticket hopeful Kev Boland this morning as he tried to get Dublin tickets, which went on sale at 8.00am.

Now at almost 9.20am, those using the Ticketmaster app have been told there are ‘no tickets available on mobile’ – marking what could be the end of the road for app users.

Oasis posted a warning to fans as the sale opened, as the official account said: ‘Please note, Oasis Live ‘25 tickets can only be resold at face value via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets!’

‘Tickets appearing on other secondary ticketing sites are either counterfeit or will be cancelled by the promoters.’

The Britpop group also told fans on Friday to only buy tickets from the official websites following non-authorised sellers charging thousands for pre-sale passes shortly after they became available.

At just 9.30am on general admission day, unofficial sites were selling Wembley tickets from £771 to a mammoth £7,025.

But fans have taken to social media to complain of the Ticketmaster website crashing with the demand, and even logging people out and making them queue to get back in.

@snowflower271 took to social media tagging the ticketing giant at 8.10am this morning and said: ’50min before Oasis general sale and your website is already crashing.’

‘Up at 8am and none of the Oasis ticket websites are loading,’ added Daniel Munarriz.

The Ticketmaster app doesn’t seem to be doing much better, as @jamesyboi87 posted a screenshot of his broken page and wrote: ‘I’m using your app on my phone. No vpn or anything. Absolute shambles.’

@Gin9er_Nut wrote: ‘@oasis you’ve broken the Internet Still in a queue and with 125k infront of me don’t look like I’m seeing you guys this time :( ah well look forward to some more dates being added.’

Everyone is going all out to try and get tickets

I’ve been getting this for about 20 mins now after the waiting room for 35 mins and moving up the queue from 27000 to actually selecting tickets pic.twitter.com/r2GXIsMOyu

Ticketmaster doing this 20 minutes before the Oasis general sale and not even letting people be able to sign in to they’re accounts prior to this. Everyday I have a new reason to not like Ticketmaster 😭 pic.twitter.com/0RDPrrFJCc

Others couldn’t even get on the site with some reporting queues just to sign in, as @shedreamspurple said: ‘Ticketmaster won’t even load the list of Oasis events I’m cooked.’

@FragileEllie, who was in a queue to just get onto the site, wrote: ‘Ticvketmaster doing this 20 minutes before the Oasis general sale and not even letting people be able to sign in to their accounts prior to this.’

Many said they were booted out of their signed in Ticketmaster account, as Del Smith wrote: ‘Ticketmaster looks to have crashed already, it’s kicked me out saying it looks like my activity is a BOT, now o can’t get logged back in.’

‘Crashed off of Ticketmaster multiple times and now my accounts logged out I’m not getting these tickets,’ added @CallumDLP.

Ellie Woodcock raged: ‘Classic that my ticketmaster app has bloody logged me out the one morning I actually want it. Spent an hour in a queue trying to LOG IN.’

Ticketmaster are an absolute disgrace. Get in to buy tickets for oasis at murrayfield. It then says confirming tickets and never gave me any, then punts me out and puts me to the back of the queue pic.twitter.com/qyUaeYPKNa

On clicking through to get tickets for a date fans will be greeted by this
But on clicking through this morning, the Ticketmaster website appeared to crash

With pre-sale tickets already being resold for a staggering £10,000, these tickets are the hottest in music right now and millions are expected to virtually queue up to be in with a shot today.

In a moment that’s reminiscent of the Glastonbury ticket battle, fans will be hoping their super speedy Wifi or 5G will get them the golden ticket.

Pre-sale tickets for the Manchester Britpop band’s 2025 UK and Ireland shows went live yesterday evening at 7pm on Ticketmaster, and minutes later tickets appeared on Viagogo for a huge sum.

On the official Ticketmaster website, tickets were less expensive than predicted with prices ranging from £74.25 to £506.25 for the pre-show party package.

While fans raged sitting in virtual queues of over 10,000 trying to get to the front and secure a ticket, the official Oasis account issued a warning.

It read: ‘We have noticed people attempting to sell tickets on the secondary market since the start of the pre-sale. Please note, tickets can ONLY be resold, at face value, via @Ticketmaster and @Twickets. Tickets sold in breach of the terms and conditions will be canceled by the promoters.’

Tickets are officially being sold via Ticketmaster, GigsAndTours, and See Tickets, however, the band’s reunion concert tickets have also been relisted on ticket exchange and reselling websites for thousands of pounds.

On Friday evening, Oasis tickets for Wembley Stadium were listed on Viagogo for up to £5,909 while some tickets at the London venue, listed under ‘Hospitality Club’ were on sale for £10,578 on StubHub.

The StubHub website says all Oasis tickets ‘come with our FanProtect 100% guarantee for secure purchasing.’

Lisa Webb, consumer law expert at Which?, said: ‘We’d strongly advise against buying any of the resale tickets currently popping up online at inflated prices.

‘Not only is there a chance that some of these listings could be scam attempts, but even legitimate tickets could be cancelled, rendering them invalid, if they are sold outside of the official resale platforms or at above face value.’

Fans have been in panic mode ever since the feuding brothers announced their reunion tour gigs in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Dublin.

Ahead of the sale, Oasis revealed due to ‘unprecedented demand’ three further gigs have been added to the line-up.

The extra dates include a Heaton Park show on July 16, an extra Wembley gig on July 30 and another Edinburgh concert on August 12.

The tour will kick off next summer, and fans are now praying the famously at loggerheads brothers can remain civil until then – and throughout the much-anticipated tour.

Since their split in 2009, Noel and Liam Gallagher have been hurling insults at each other online and actively dismissing any reunion rumours.

So it’s good to have them back!
