Susanna Reid has revealed her summer antics with her sons in Ibiza on her return to the Good Morning Britain sofa.

The presenter was back alongside co-host Ed Balls on Monday as she got back to work on the ITV staple following her holiday.

And her summer holiday saw her following in the footsteps of Angela Rayner, who was seen on the party island behind the DJ decks alongside Fisher.

"This summer, I took my boys to Ibiza,” said 53-year-old Reid.

“I have been going for 10 years and it was amazing to really enjoy it with my boys now they are old enough to go clubbing.

“We go to the day clubs together and then I go back to the hotel and they go to the nightclubs!"

Reid has three sons – Sam, 22, Finn, 20, and Jack, 19 – with Dominic Cotton, her journalist ex-husband from whom she separated in 2014. She was also married to Steve Parish from 2018 to 2019.

While she did not admit to partying in Ibiza, Reid admitted she was up at some unsociable hours thanks to her routine of getting early starts to be on GMB in time.

Reid added: "My body clock is so attuned to the early starts that I naturally wake at 3.40am even during the summer. I am able to go back to sleep very easily, but I also find it very easy to get up for work."

GMB is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2024 and Reid has become an established figure, having previously hosted breakfast television on the BBC.

She is now happy to be back on the GMB sofa, she said, with a busy late summer and autumn of news set to follow.

Reid added: "I love doing my job – the news agenda has been so busy and I have been avidly watching GMB while I have been off.

“This autumn, we have the US presidential election coming up, so that’s going to be huge."

Reid is set to be joined later this month by Richard Madeley, who is returning to the screen after a period of absence.
