Gogglebox star Stephen Webb raised several eyebrows after making a savage comment about Lauryn Goodman‘s ‘affair’ with Kyle Walker on Celebs Go Dating.
A cheating scandal erupted earlier this year after it was revealed the footballer fathered Lauryn’s second child after he had reunited with wife Annie Kilner.
Lauryn, 33, and Kyle, 34, had their first child together, son Kairo, in 2020 but while he was on a temporary break from childhood sweetheart Kilner.
The England footballer later apologised to Annie, 33, who is the mother of four of his children, for making ‘idiot choices and decisions.’
On Channel 4 show Celebs Go Dating, Stephen, 53, shocked viewers when he took a swipe at Lauryn and the ‘affair’ drama.
‘So what’s your type Lauryn?’ he asked her. ‘Apart from married?’
On X, fans of Gogglebox shared concern over Lauryn’s welfare after Stephen’s remark.

Last month, Lauryn had been in a dispute last month with Kyle over the amount of money he should pay to support their one-year-old daughter, Kinara.
She previously publicly confirmed that Kyle was the father of her second child, and sent a text to Annie last December stating: ‘Hey it’s Lauryn I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter.’
At the Central Family Court in London, the judge said Kyle ‘acted with dignity and generosity’ adding he was ‘not persuaded’ by many of Lauryn’s claims of needing items such as a £31,200 artificial turf pitch.
Kyle was ordered to pay £12,500 per month in child maintenance – a figure he offered before the hearing began – and a sum of £5,000 for furniture, compared with Lauryn’s initial demand of £20,000.
He was also ordered to pay £30,000 for a car to be used by a nanny and other fees.

In January, Annie, who shares sons Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and a two-month-old son Rezon with Kyle, posted on Instagram that the pair were taking a break.
‘I have decided to take some time away from Kyle,’ she wrote.
‘I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time.’
Insiders say Kyle has been desperately trying to get their marriage back on track.
Meanwhile, Stephen’s comments and behavior on Celebs Go Dating has sparked backlash. He even broke down in tears when admitting he ‘comes across like an old pervert’.
It came after 31-year-old diving instructor Dean said he felt ‘humiliated’ after Stephen directed sexual questions at him during a date, with the TV star then getting emotional.
‘It’s hard. It’s really hard. I’m a hot mess. My head’s all over the place. I feel like my whole personality has been destroyed,’ he added while he cried, also being reprimanded by the dating experts for his behaviour.
However, Celebs Go Dating expert Anna Williamson recently defended Stephen, who begged viewers to ‘hold all judgment’.
‘I adore Stephen and actually I really haven’t enjoyed seeing a lot of the negative feedback that Stephen’s been getting,’ she said.
‘That could not be further away from the man that I know and I’m really looking forward to everyone seeing Stephen’s progression.’
