Broadway diva Patti LuPone has refused to bury her feud with Madonna after double-downing on her harsh take over the singer’s acting skills by rubbing more salt on the wound.

The Tony-winning actor – who is set to feature in the Disney Marvel series Agatha All Along opposite Joe Locke and Kathyrn Hahn – appeared on Hot Ones Versus alongside co-star Aubrey Plaza in which the pair were challenged to either tell the truth or devour a spicy hot wing.

During one such ultimatum, Aubrey asked Patti whether she would say sorry for her remarks about Madonna’s poor acting skills during a previous interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Patti stared straight at the camera as she defiantly ate the ‘Death wing’ before throwing down the chicken gauntlet.

The White Lotus actor is referring to the time seven years ago when Patti told presenter Andy that Madonna couldn’t ‘act her way out of a paper bag’ and was ‘not an actress’ after seeing her on MTV. ‘Madonna is a movie killer. She’s dead behind the eyes,’ she added.

In the latest Hot Ones Versus episode, she shared more on her brutal stance.

‘I’ve seen her on stage and I saw her in a movie and I went, “Um, okay,” the acclaimed musical theatre performer explained.

‘There’s just some things some people can’t do, and you just gotta admit you can’t do it, that’s all. Or don’t even try it! Everybody can’t do everything.’

Madonna has starred in films such as the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan, and was a voice actress for the 2006 feature Arthur and the Invisibles and of course, her lead role in the musical Evita which landed her a Golden Globe.

She concluded her live-action feature film career with 2002’s Swept Away which performed very poorly critically and commercially

‘I just don’t think people are comfortable with me doing well in other areas besides music,’ she told NBC’s Matt Lauer in 2003.

The Like A Prayer hitmaker is not the only onscreen personality that Patti has no time for.

She also aimed fire at Kim Kardashian who recently starred in FX series American Horror Story: Delicate as celebrity publicist Siobhan Corbyn (Patti herself has also historically appeared in the Ryan Murphy franchise).

‘Like Kim f**ing Kardashian. Can we go there? Or shall I eat another wing?’ she said.

It comes after her remarks to Andy in 2023 where she said: ‘Excuse me, excuse me, Kim. You know, what are you doing with your life? Don’t get on the stage, Mrs. Worthington,’ which refers to the 1935 Noel Coward song about refusing to find eager mothers a stage role for their daughters.

As for Patti, she is raring to go with the new Wandavision spin-off series about a witches’ coven in which she plays witch Lilia Calderu.

On the complete flip side, Patti’s co-stars have had nothing but praise for the veteran performer.

Actor Ali Ahn told comicbook.com that while it was ‘horribly intimidating’ to work with her, she was also ‘so warm and kind.’

Meanwhile, heartstopper star Joe added it was ‘a dream come true. Patti’s someone I’ve loved for my whole life.’
