Princess Zelda is not happy right now (YouTube)

Nintendo’s upcoming Zelda title, Echoes Of Wisdom, appears to have leaked online two weeks before launch, and is already playable on emulators.

Nintendo’s upcoming Zelda game, Echoes Of Wisdom, which has you finally playing as Princess Zelda herself, could well end up as one of the best action adventures of the year.

However, while it doesn’t come out until September 26, it has leaked online already, but the problem for Nintendo is not just physical copies arriving in people’s hands early.

Nintendo, which is known for being highly litigious, is now busy getting the videos taken down from YouTube and other sites, but that means that spoilers are now being spread far and wide online.

Last week, YouTuber Nintendo Prime said that the entire Echoes Of Wisdom had leaked as a ROM file online, adding that it was playable on emulators.

This was also confirmed by another YouTuber, Zelda Lore, who said on Twitter, ‘Warning! Echoes of Wisdom has LEAKED. People already have it on emulators. Be careful if you want to remain spoiler free.’

A fan on Reddit later spotted a video on YouTube, showing someone who’s apparently gotten their hands on the game early, as they booted up Echoes Of Wisdom on the Switch and played it.

It’s now been taken down, as the page states, ‘This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Nintendo of America Inc.’

This is likely not going to be the only leaks appearing on social media before Echoes Of Wisdom launches, so be wary of spoilers if you’re looking forward to playing it.

Luckily, there is also some good news ahead of its release, as Echoes Of Wisdom is up to 25% off on pre-orders at a number of online retailers in the UK.
