Sting, Justin Timberlake and Stereophonics have all been unveiled as the headlining acts for next year's Isle of Wight Festival.

The acts were announced on Monday, September 23 for the event which will run from June 19 to 22, at Seaclose Park in Newport in 2025.

Also set to play over the mammoth music weekender is Teddy Swims, electronic group Faithless, Irish rockers The Script, and Clean Bandit.

Former Police frontman Sting, aged 72, will be the headline act for the opening Friday night as part of his world tour, with fans hoping to hear hits including Every Little Thing She Does is Magic and Every Breath You Take.

He will then perform at the Latitude Festival in Suffolk the following weekend, where he has also been named as the headline act.

On the Saturday at Isle of Wight, Welsh favourites Stereophonics will be the main act of the night, having already performed at the festival on numerous occasions before; in 2004, 2016 and in 2022.

On Sunday, American pop star Justin Timberlake will bring the weekend event to a close.

Isle of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings said: "This first announcement spans global music icons to the freshest new talent and we have many more names to come."

Other stars announced as performing over the weekend include band Texas, James, and The Lathums.

British rapper Example will also play, as will former The Beautiful South singer Paul Heaton, former Yazoo member Alison Moyet, and singer Olly Murs.
