Penn and Teller are set to return to London as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.

The American magicians and comedy duo are gearing up for an 11-date residency at the London Palladium from September 13, 2025.

Teller, who was first a high school Latin teacher in New Jersey and part-time magician, met Penn Jillette, a clown college graduate, in the mid 70s.

Renowned for their jaw-dropping performances and joyous explorations of magic and comedy, the tour will mark Pen and Teller’s first run of West End shows.

Last year, the duo performed six dates at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith as part of their The First Final UK Tour.

Speaking to The Standard at the time about what they love most about being in London, Penn said: “I like that there are vegan fish and chips everywhere now. I like being in London, I like the weather, that might be only because I’m from Vegas and it’s quite a change-up.”

Teller, meanwhile, is more taken with the West End’s theatre scene and says he enjoys the novelty of “being able to walk everywhere”.

Penn Jillette, 69, and Teller, 76, have continually defied expectations – and sometimes physics – over the years with their skewering of traditional magic tricks, crafting clever illusions that capture audiences’ minds and imaginations.

These life-long friends have the longest running headline act in Las Vegas, alongside hit TV series such as Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Emmy-winning TV specials and hundreds of appearances on shows such as Colbert, The Simpsons, Friends and even The West Wing.

Using every year of their experiences of magic and mayhem, the anniversary tour will showcase new tricks and offer UK audiences a rare chance to see them perform live across the pond.

Speaking about what fans can expect this time around, they said: “Our 50th year of magic would not be complete without performing in the UK.

“We have never before played in the West End and we are very excited to celebrate our 50th Anniversary at London’s famous Palladium. If Madonna can do it, so can we.”
