The scene featured his character begging Marisa's Yasmin to give him a 'golden shower.'

Recalling the moment that Kit joined the programme, she admitted: ‘I couldn’t believe it, he’s such an icon of British television and HBO.

‘Kit’s done a lot of this before and there has to be a lot of trust there. There was a shower scene, and he made sure that his arm was in the perfect place, he’s a gentleman.

'Those scenes are always weird but when you have people that are very gentle and generous, it's great.’

Intimacy co-ordinators have become a much more familiar presence on sets as raunchy scene become more and more commonplace.

The professionals help cast and crew through choreographing and coaching talent through shooting sex sequences, including discussions on boundaries and comfort.

‘I was in my second year at drama school when Me Too happened and I've benefitted from so many brave people, especially women, coming forward and making the industry a safer space for people like me,' Marisa explained.

In the episode that aired on September 8, Sir Henry asks Yasmin: 'Can you do something for me? Can you be vulnerable with me if I'm vulnerable with you?'

'Can you relieve yourself on me?'

Despite Yasmin's initial understandable apprehension, urine is soon seen trickling down Sir Henry's leg and he gleams with pleasure, before adding: 'Thank you for trusting me.'

Alongside Marisa and Kit, the drama also features Ken Leung, and Myha'la Herrold back at the helm.

Adding of her close bond with her Industry co-stars, Marisa said: ‘They are genuinely some of my closest friends. It's actually incredibly useful to have peers figuring it all out at the same time.’

Kit previously described his character as a 'posh idiot' during an appearance on CBS Mornings.

'He's always had this safety net underneath him so he doesn't need to — he can sort of just be who he wants to be, and that's not always the best thing,' he teased.

The first two seasons of Industry are available to stream now on the BBC iPlayer. The third season debuts on the iPlayer and BBC One on Tuesday, October 1.

Like series one and two, series three of Industry has eight episodes and the finale airs in the US on September 29.
