Former NFL player Jason Kelce reacted to his brother's new TV show during its premiere.

Travis Kelce, the three-time Super Bowl winning tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs, has a role in Ryan Murphy's latest series on FX called Grotesquerie, which premiered on Wednesday.

The series follows a detective, played by Niecy Nash, as she works with a local nun to solve a series of gruesome crimes in their community.

In the first episode, the mysterious killer is seen boiling a baby, and Kelce reacted with his thoughts on X, formerly Twitter, in a post that has gone viral with almost 727,000 views at the time of writing.

"If Travis boiled a baby, I'm gonna be real p***** #Grotesquerie," Kelce wrote about the gruesome scene, implying that Travis might be playing the murderer.

Travis has been making moves in Hollywood after first hosting Saturday Night Live in 2023. Outside of acting in Grotesquerie, Travis will also be hosting the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? spinoff series Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? which will debut on Amazon's Prime Video on Wednesday, October 16.

One of Travis' co-stars in Grotesquerie opened up on the football player's acting talents. Nicholas Chavez spoke about Travis at the Los Angeles premiere of his Netflix series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, in which he plays Lyle Menendez.

"He has such an exciting character in this show, and I think that people should be looking forward to seeing Travis shine because guy's a star," Chavez told People, adding, "He handled the material like a pro. He's awesome."

Travis' other co-stars opened up about his performance at the show's premiere on Monday.

"I mean it would be one thing if he wasn't a nice guy," Courtney B. Vance told Variety. "But really, he's a nice guy."

Casting Travis in the horror series "just helps us," according to Vance.

"It helps everybody. Ryan is all about publicity, and he does it better than anyone," he said.

The Kelce brothers' mom, Donna Kelce, made her own appearance at Monday's premiere.

"I know he wanted to do this, and I know he can manifest things," she told Variety of Travis wanting to try his hand at acting. "He has no fear of trying things, and he has no fear of failure."

Fans got a glimpse of Travis' acting talents in the Grotesquerie trailer which was released earlier this month.

Travis has a brief line in the trailer where he can be seen saying, "There's no future after this," and seems to be a mysterious, prophet-like character.
