Katy Perry has admitted to resorting to 'witchcraft' in order to snare her fiancée Orlando Bloom.
The US pop star, 39, made the revelation on Thursday's Kyle and Jackie O Show ahead of her anticipated AFL Grand Final performance.
Jackie O Henderson asked Katy to reveal if it was love at first sight with Orlando, 47, or a 'slow burn'.
'When you met Orlando did you know straight away that this was like: "Yes, this is the guy I've been waiting for?" Or was it a slow burn? Did it build?' she asked.
'It definitely built,' Katy replied. 'I cast a little spell for him, and it came true.'
The admission intrigued everyone, including newsreader Brooklyn Ross who pressed Katy for more.
'Word for word, what was that spell?,' he asked.
Katy explained that she had been going through a 'tricky' time in her life and felt as though she was 'going through this loop love-wise'.

'I literally was like, You know what? I'm going to write down a recipe of what I want in my future mate,' she said.
'And I wrote two things that I really remember very clearly, which was someone to meet me in my adventure language, my love language, and then also someone that's as spiritually curious as I am.'
Katy then revealed she eventually met Orlando at a 2016 Golden Globes party and the pair hit it off over fast food.

'I literally was like, 'You know what? I'm going to write down a recipe of what I want in my future mate,' she said
'I chose this dress. It was this shade of pink that I knew kind of was related to rose quartz. I was doing all of the things, you know, and then it happened that night,' she said.
'I ordered some In-N-Out burgers to an award show, and he stole one off of my table. And I was like: "That's interesting. You're interesting. Hello. Don't take my burger but take my burger."'
The pair immediately started dating after the auspicious meeting and Orlando eventually popped the question in 2019.
The lovebirds welcomed daughter Daisy Dove into the world in August 2020.

Katy recently revealed to People how 'hot and fast' the couples arguments get.
'Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue kinda hot and fast and then cool really quickly,' she explained.
'It’s like, "La la la la la, I love you. Alright, let’s move on,"' she explained.
The mother-of-one also called her party-of-three a 'loud family' and said they call themselves 'the chaos crew. We are fire, fire, fire, and so [Daisy] sees all of that.'
