Travis Kelce is quickly becoming a household name, but according to his mother, Donna Kelce, he is handling it well.

In an interview with Extra, Donna, 71, reflected on Travis, 34, and his recent rise to stardom. While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has had a pretty strong fan base and loyal following since the early stages of his NFL career, Travis blew up into megastar status once he began dating Taylor Swift over a year ago.

Donna has noticed this, and is excited for her son as he navigates new avenues. She said it's tough to keep up with Travis these days, but she is happy to see that he is out and about having fun.

"It just seems like his life is on a trajectory that just is rising every single day, and every time I turn around I'm seeing him doing something different — whether it's on the golf course or at a concert or whatever, he's just having his best life right now," Donna said.

Of course, with fame comes lots of external pressure to hold it together for fans and followers. But Donna said this kind of attention has never intimidated Travis. In fact, he has always loved bringing joy to people's lives by way of entertainment.

"He's always been one to be in the limelight," Donna said. "He loves attention. I mean it, he's always dancing, always joking around, always having fun... he just loves life. He has a zest for life and he's one of those individuals that wants to make sure everybody's laughing and having a good time."

Fans are looking forward to seeing Travis make his acting debut on FX's new horror-drama series, Grotesquerie. Though he did not appear in the first two episodes that premiered this past Wednesday, September 25, the trailer for next week's episode teased his ominous introduction.
