It seems congratulations are in order for Big Brother host Will Best, who is engaged to his girlfriend after popping the question on a romantic holiday.

The TV star, 39, has been dating stylist Tobi Rose for over a decade, with reports claiming the lovebirds are now ready to take their relationship to the next stage.

Will, who joined ITV’s revival as co-host alongside AJ Odudu in 2023, whisked Tobi off to Tuscany in Italy for a loved-up getaway recently.

It was there he got down on one knee, The Sun claims, with his other half accepting happily.

Speaking to the outlet on Monday (July 8), a source said the married couple-to-be ‘couldn’t be happier’.

But, it seems they aren’t in a rush to say ‘I do’ and are simply basking in the engagement bubble.

‘Naturally, they are both overjoyed and can’t wait to celebrate making it down the aisle,’ the insider shared.

‘There are no plans locked in at the moment.’

When they do become husband and wife, though, the ceremony certainly has the potential to be a star-studded affair.

‘Due to both of their jobs, they have a lot of celebrity pals, even if they don’t mix in so-called celebrity circles, so the guest list will be impressive.’

One look at Will’s Instagram proves he has friends in high places, having struck up an especially close friendship with BB’s AJ, 36, since they landed the gig together.

He’s also featured on This Morning alongside Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, partied with Jameela Jamil, and worked with Jamie Laing and Maya Jama, so fans might be doing some celeb spotting when his big day finally rolls around.

However, insiders suggested that an ultra-glam wedding might not be their preference.

‘Will has been in the industry since 2010 so naturally has close bonds with some big names, but the idea of a flashy celebrity wedding is worlds away from what he and Tobi want.’

The source added: ‘Will is pencilled in to host two series of Big Brother next year so that blocks out a number of months when it comes to picking a date.’

Speaking about Tobi last year, Will posted a sweet tribute for their 12th anniversary.

He penned on social media: ’12 years ago today I met this truly one in a 7.88 billion human being… as well as being the love of my life, she’s also frighteningly true to her word.’

Will got his big break in TV on the music channel Viva, where he fronted the show Suck My Pop, as well as the MTV Top 20 Chart Show.

From there, he bagged himself a spot on TV and went on to present various Channel 4 shows.

He really broke through to primetime, though, in 2017 when he presented the talent show Dance Dance Dance alongside Britain’s Got Talent’s Alesha Dixon.

While ITV did not commission the show for a second series, they clearly remained fond of him.

Having been a regular contributor to Big Brother’s Bit On The Side from 2013 to 2014, last April he and AJ were confirmed to be following in the footsteps of Davina McCall and Emma Willis by hosting the world-famous social experiment’s main show.

The civilian series was a major success, with a celeb edition – won by David Potts – to follow.

Speaking previously about why Big Brother was his dream gig, Will explained: ‘I grew up with Big Brother, so getting a chance to host it with my mate, AJ, is a dream come true.

‘I can’t wait to tell some housemates not to swear.’

Applications for the next series of Big Brother close this month and the show returns in autumn.
