It turns out Travis Kelce has some expectations as far as his partner's attendance on game day.

Taylor Swift has been noticeably absent from the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's last two games, causing fans to worry about the power couple's relationship status. (She missed the Sunday, September 22, game against the Atlanta Falcons and the Sunday, September 29, game against the Los Angeles Chargers.) However, in a resurfaced interview from 2016 for WHOSAY, Kelce, 34, shared tips on being the best WAG (wives and girlfriends of sports players), including his expectations regarding attending games.

"If you're dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games," the Super Bowl champion remarked. "I mean, there's eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don't even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game."

While Swift has missed the two away games of the season, she was present during both home games at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. (The Chiefs played the Baltimore Ravens in the Thursday, September 5 season opener and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, September 15.)

A source told Page Six that away games are more complicated for the singer in terms of security measures. "If she is going to a place that isn't Arrowhead, there are security concerns," one source told the outlet. "She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance."

While the video is from eight years ago — long before the NFL star and the 14-time Grammy Award winner began dating — Kelce seemingly foreshadowed aspects of his current relationship with the "Cruel Summer" singer. Kelce said he wanted his future girlfriend to be showing support during the games. "I need her to cheer when we're doing awesome," the University of Cincinnati alum exclaimed. It seems the New Heights podcaster got what he wanted, as Swift has no problem cheering for her man and is known for her adorable reactions when he is on the field.
