Award winning comedian Katherine Ryan has once again returned to host the ceremony in west London – for the fourth year in a row.

Deborah Joseph, European Editorial Director at GLAMOUR, said of the inspiring event: '2024 has already been both a momentous and difficult year for women around the globe, with so many incredible activists speaking truth to power, as well as deeply concerning areas of regression in women's rights.

'While we still have so much to fight for, it's even more important to champion the gamechangers, advocates, and feminist icons who are making the world a better place for women.

'I can't wait to toast them all at our annual GLAMOUR Women of the Year awards.'

It comes after Michelle's Netflix series Fool Me Once was revealed as the most watch show on the streaming site this year.

The series, which made the former soap actress a global star, was the most watched show in the first half of 2024, clocking up 108 million views.

Period romance Bridgerton was next with 92 million hits.

Stalking drama Baby Reindeer was third with 88 million views and Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen fourth with 76 million, according to Netflix report What We Watched.

Completing the British-led list was One Day, which came 10th. Ted Sarandos, chief executive of Netflix, said: 'Number one, two, three and four shows were produced here in the UK... combined that's 360million households.'

Fool Me Once sees Michelle star as a widow whose husband appears to come back from the dead and features Joanna Lumley as her overbearing mother-in-law.

The chart-topper was Netflix's latest Harlan Coben adaptation under a multi-million-pound deal that will see at least two more thrillers, Missing You and Run Away, stream in the next year.

Coben's novels are set in the US but in his adaptations he relocated them to the UK with mostly British talent.

Former Our Girl actress Michelle is now being lined up for another role with Netflix after impressing the American novelist.

Coben said: 'We'd love to get Michelle back. I think what Michelle has, besides tremendous talent and all the other stuff, is a genuine authenticity.

'I think people, the audience, loves her.'
