Katie Price was set to appear in an ‘adult’ pantomime of Aladdin, but the production has been ‘quietly scrapped’ even though tickets were already placed on sale, reports have suggested.
Katie, 46, is set to face another financial blow as her upcoming acting gig has been ‘quietly cancelled’ and is no longer on the online theatre schedule.
It has been reported that fans are baffled, and there hasn’t been an explanation as to why the show was ditched.
A source told The Sun: ‘The show has been quietly cancelled with no explanation.
‘Fans aren’t sure whether it was down to poor ticket sales or another reason, but it’s all very strange.
‘Katie is doing another panto now with her pal Kerry Katona though, so she won’t be out of pocket.’
The star is additionally set to star across Kerry Katona, 44, in an upcoming pantomime version of Cinderella. The pair are set to play the wicked step-sisters and the ticket sales have already been huge for the production.
The stars met in 2004 during I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and looked like they were set to have great fun as they posed together in the promotional images for the performance.
This won’t be the first time the star is set to take part in a festive pantomime as she played the villain in Sleeping Beauty last year.
The TV icon played ‘The Wicked Fairy’ and performed at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool for several nights in December 2023.
The star also played Queen Rat in adult panto, Big Dick Whittington and his Pussy at The Exchange in North Shields.
Earlier this year, the reality TV icon was declared bankrupt for the second time as it emerged that she owes over £760,000 in unpaid tax.
She then concerned fans as she travelled to Turkey in August to get her sixth facelift which cost an estimated £10,000 and included a painful-looking recovery process.
After returning from Turkey to the UK, Katie was arrested for failing to appear in court after a warrant for her arrest was issued by a judge after she failed to attend a hearing relating to her bankruptcies. She was released soon after.
The star has now sparked engagement rumours as she’s been snapped with a diamond ring on her finger.
The former glamour model is currently on holiday in Cyprus with her boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 32, and eldest son Harvey, 22.
The star showed off the results of her latest facelift while relaxing on sun loungers with her boyfriend, and was snapped in a tiny bikini that showed off her various tattoos.
