It's no secret that dating apps often lead to burnout and frustration and one Real Housewives of Orange County star is over it.

Nowadays, many users are seeking alternatives to the mainstream platforms, and RHOC star Noella Bergener is one of those people. After trying Seeking.com, a longtime dating platform with a reported 46 million-plus members, Bergener, 39, revealed to Newsweek her true thoughts on the site.

"I like Seeking because it is different from the rest; it's more niche and it really worked for me," the reality star shared. Bergener was infamously married to James Bergener from 2020-2021, splitting only a year after they officially tied the knot. She then started dating Bobby Schubnenski in 2022 – around the same time she announced her departure from the show – and got engaged quickly after. The pair have since split.

While she steps back out into the dating scene, she may want to keep some research from Seeking.com in mind. The platform revealed that stepping outside one's comfort zone is essential for combating "dating fatigue."

"Our research confirms what we've suspected—dating fatigue is real, but it's not an endpoint. Instead, it's a catalyst for personal transformation," says Brandon Wade, CEO.

Wade's survey also showed a staggering 84 percent of members feel exhausted by traditional dating apps, with 92 percent taking periodic breaks to recharge. However, more than half reported significantly better experiences when they explored new dating strategies. Also, about 63 percent view dating as a form of self-care rather than just a means to an end.

Bergener isn't the only celebrity candidly discussing their experiences with dating apps; several other celebrities have opened up about their journeys as well. Actress Chrissy Metz shared her enthusiasm for women taking the lead on the one dating app on Andy Cohen Live, saying, "I love the idea that the woman gets to take the first step... you got to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince." She met her boyfriend, songwriter Bradley Collins, on the app. Singer Lily Allen also connected with actor David Harbour on a dating app, and went on to tie the knot in December 2020.
