Congratulations are in order for Jason Duggar!
According to People, the 19 Kids and Counting alum married Maddie Grace on Thursday, October 3, at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek in Maddie's home state of Tennessee. Jason is the 12th of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 children.
The pair had 300 guests present for their fall-themed wedding, including many of Jason's siblings. James Duggar, 23, Justin Duggar, 21, and Jackson Duggar, 20, were all groomsmen, while Jedidah Duggar, 25, served as best man. On Maddie's side, Johanna Duggar, 18, Jennifer Duggar, 17, Jordyn Duggar, 15, and Josie Duggar, 14, participated as bridesmaids.
"Just having everybody together just to celebrate us, because you never get another day in your life where all of your loved ones are together," Maddie gushed about her special day. "Just being able to see everybody in one place. It's just a big party where everybody gets together." It was extra sweet for the bride as she is headed to live in Jason's home state post-wedding.
In December 2023, the Counting On alum found Maddie via Instagram. "I kind of basically got lost on there [Instagram]. I was talking with Jana [his sister]. I was telling her, I was like, 'Listen, Jana, you got to put yourself out there if you want to find a guy.' So I was like, 'Look, listen, I'm going to hop on here just to find someone, just to show you that I can do it,'" Jason, 24, recounted.
Maddie added that she felt God had a hand in all this because the odds of them connecting were slim. "But Jase found my profile just because he accidentally tapped on the notifications button, he saw my profile picture," she recalled. "He was like, 'Oh, she's cute.' It was definitely a God thing though. There's no way we would've found each other. It was just crazy."
The couple wasted no time after they met, as Jason asked for Grace's hand in marriage in August 2024.
Looking to the future, the newlyweds are headed to Italy for their honeymoon and plan to both travel before "settling down."
