Jana Duggar's recent photos have recently sparked a debate among fans on whether or not she is engaged.
Duggar, best known for her appearances on TLC's 19 Kids and Counting and its spinoff Counting On, has often been in the spotlight as the eldest unmarried daughter of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar. While most of her younger siblings have moved out, gotten married, and started their own families, she has seemingly remained at the family home in Tontitown, Arkansas with her parents.
That could have all changed, however, as the most recent upload to the 34-year-old's Instagram had observant fans commenting on something intriguing: a ring on Duggar's left hand.
On July 8, she shared a series of photos from a recent trip to Charleston, South Carolina. Accompanied by her twin brother John David, his wife Abbie, and their children, the images capture the group posing in front of flowers, palm trees, and ocean views. Taking a closer look at the photos, Duggar's ring finger appeared to have a giant sparkler on it.
Comments quickly poured in, totally skipping over the precious family moments and getting straight to the important question – who is the lucky man? "Engagement ring?!! Did I miss something?" asked one fan, while another inquired, "What? How does she know him?" A third fan stated confidently, "That is definitely a diamond ring."
Some fans offered other theories about the ring, with one suggesting, "I wonder if she's doing the same thing I used to do? I hated the attention I was getting from men at one point and started wearing a ring on that finger to make them think I was taken😂." Another noted, "It's a purity ring, ya'll."
The former reality star made her return to YouTube on Sunday, June 30, posting her first video in over three years. Titled "Life Update + Projects I've Been Working On," the video offered fans a glimpse into the recent happenings on the Arkansas property. "It's been a little while since I've shared an update. So I wanted to show you all what we've been up to the past few months on the farm and some fun projects that we've been working on," she said in the video.
She detailed how her sisters, Johannah, 18, and Josie, 14, have been helping her with various tasks around the farm. The trio recently purchased a "whole truckload" of sheep and goats and have been busy cleaning up the old farm shed. "So many new kids were born this spring!" Duggar exclaimed, as the video showed an adorable baby goat along with some chicks.
As of now, Jana has not addressed the engagement rumors or provided any confirmation about her relationship status.
