Kim Kardashian has revealed that she ‘broke off’ the tip of her finger in a seriously gruesome injury, comparing the pain to childbirth.
The 43-year-old has left some fans concerned after she sported plasters across her hands in recent months.
In the teaser for the upcoming episode of the Kardashians, the Skims boss revealed her grim wound for the camera during a doctor’s appointment, as she got an update on the injury.
The brief clip showed the mom-of-four having a check-up on her sliced finger, with the medical expert insisting that the healing ‘looks great’.
Baffled by his response, she questioned: ‘You think that looks great?’
As an X-ray appeared on the screen, she told the camera in a confessional: ‘The tip broke off. It was more painful than childbirth.’
The businesswoman gave birth to children North and Saint with ex-husband Kanye West – and later welcomed Chicago and Psalm via a surrogate.
Although Kim gave us all a glimpse at her grisly recovery, the teaser stopped short of explaining exactly what led to her treatment.
It is not clear when the injury occurred but she been pictured with bandaged fingers multiple times in the last few months, including dressings across her fingers while at a Super Bowl party in February.
Viewers were left shocked by the footage and flocked to social media to share their support for the reality star.
Reddit user Icy_Chemist_5693 penned: ‘That looks so painful.’
Darthdarling221 agreed: ‘Omg I was not expecting that! Poor Kim. She did a great job at concealing it for so long. I hope it looks normal now.’

Thankfully, it doesn’t seems as though Kim’s finger injury slowed her career down in any way, as she is set to be joined by Halle Berry and Glenn Close in her upcoming new legal drama, All’s Fair.
The series, helmed by Ryan Murphy, was initially announced last year and will follow Kim playing a divorce lawyer in LA, and the owner of an all-female firm.
‘I know I don’t need to add another thing to my schedule,’ she previously said of the series.
‘But it’s so different than what I do and it’s such a challenge for me. I love the challenge.’
