Katie Price claimed she was getting a Netflix show (Picture: Instagram)

Katie Price has done it all when it comes to showbiz – from perfumes to books to reality shows. Now, she’s been teasing a new major career move inspired by A-listers.

Alas, we can’t be sure she’s being truthful.

The former glamour model, 46, has appeared on TV plenty of times, documenting the ups and downs of her life as a media personality and a mum.

But she recently claimed that she’s working with Netflix on a programme, following in the footsteps of people like David Beckham and Prince Harry.

‘I’m doing a Netflix series about my life,’ Katie revealed during a visit to Hits Radio.

She teased that filming is due to begin ‘at the end of the month’.

Katie added: ‘I can’t wait to have my life on Netflix as a three-parter.’

The I’m A Celebrity icon also hinted that a big-name producer would be involved.

‘I can’t tell you who the producer-director is, but when my sister told me I said “Are you joking? What? He even knows who I am?”‘

However, when contacted, a Netflix spokesperson shut down the rumours.

‘Netflix is not doing a documentary with Katie Price,’ they said.

If the project gets off the ground, Katie’s docuseries would’ve sat alongside some other glittering titles on the streaming platform.

Harry & Meghan was watched by more than two million people in the UK on the day it launched, while BECKHAM received six Emmy nominations.

Katie rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a model before she was catapulted to mainstream stardom thanks to her TV career.

She’s starred in many fly-on-the-wall series in the past, chronicling not only her domestic life, but also her romances.

This started with a trio of Channel 4 documentaries – Jordan: The Truth About Me (2002), Jordan: The Model Mum, and Jordan: You Don’t Even Know Me (both 2004) – and was followed by Jordan Gets Even on Five in 2004.

She later launched the Katie & Peter franchise on ITV2, which documented the lives of Katie and ex-husband Peter Andre with several series, from When Jordan Met Peter to Jordan & Peter: Marriage and Mayhem.

They continued welcoming cameras into their home until their separation in 2009, before which they filmed Katie & Peter: Stateside.

Their split led to their individual shows being commissioned, as What Katie Did Next continued on ITV2 until 2011.

Of course, Katie is a reality TV queen and has competed alongside many other famous faces for various titles, whether it be in the jungle or by winning Celebrity Big Brother.

One of her more recent shows was her Mucky Mansion series, in which Katie embarked on renovations for her home after neglecting it for several years.

The mum-of-five has since moved on from the property, though, having been forced to deny that she was evicted amid her second bankruptcy, but branding her time living there as ‘hell’.

She now rents a four-bedroom pad, still in West Sussex, which boasts a double garage and an open-plan kitchen, for £4,995 a month.
