Andrew Garfield's girlfriend Kate Tomas has hit back at cruel trolls who have criticised her appearance.

The 'professional witch' has opened up about how she has been targeted over her looks and even been accused of using magic to seduce her Hollywood boyfriend in an exclusive interview.

The Spider-Man actor, 40, and Kate, 43, have been together since March when they were photographed on a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham in Malibu.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, the spiritual healer has revealed that dating her famous boyfriend has come with some obstacles.

She described being targeted online by trolls and even other women who have told her that she's ugly.

Kate describes herself as a philosopher and spiritual mentor and has a long list of celebrity clients who go to her for readings including actress Lena Dunham

Kate said: 'F***ing hell, nothing could prepare me for having literally thousands of women telling me I'm ugly, I'm unattractive, I'm less than in every conceivable way.'

She added that the furore over her relationship with the heartthrob had even led to accusations of witchcraft.

Kate explained that people assumed she had bewitched her actor boyfriend and described upsetting suggestions that included she had used magic and spells to seduce her partner.

The healer has been married four times and recently divorced from her fourth husband, a photography producer.

But the Hollywood healer added that she is frustrated that her new relationship is taking centre stage, adding that she feels her accomplishments have been undermined because of Andrew's status as a Hollywood hero.

She said: 'It's frustrating that no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it's always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man.'

Her website even includes glowing testimonies from Lena Dunham, New Look founder Tom Singh, and Will and Grace star Megan Mullally.

Megan said of her session with Kate, that the doctor 'kept me out of catastrophe time and time again, I'd die without her.'

Kate grew her celebrity base early in her career after graduating with a PhD from Oxford, when she read for a modelling agent.

The agent passed on supermodel clients to Kate, while a PR executive put her in touch with celebrities. From there, corporate bookings from TV networks to financial institutions flooded in.

Just in May it was revealed that Kate put her Welsh country cottage up for sale so the loved up couple can spend more time together.

But locals have got used to seeing them in the peaceful mid-Wales village where Kate runs a spiritual healing centre.

The actor's glossy black turbo-charged Land Rover is often seen parked outside her Grade II listed cottage which has gone up for sale with a £420,000 price tag.

Kate, who holds a philosophical theology doctorate, has told friends in the village that she plans to move back to London to be closer to the Bafta winning star and for her work.

Kate has revealed that nothing could prepare her for the barrage of comments from women telling her she was ugly and unattractive and revealed that it has taken a toll on her

Local farmer David Evans said: 'It's a shame, she hasn't lived here long but we will be sorry to lose her. I've never heard anything bad about her.

'They have been seen in the village church on Sundays and they seem to have made a lot of friends.

'You always know when he's here because his posh Land Rover is parked outside.

'But there's been a rumour in the village for a while that she is leaving.'

Kate moved to Wales after the pandemic and ran a number of retreats from a quaint cottage, a former school house which dates back to 1857.

Older villagers didn't know the identity of her mystery suitor but younger locals recognised him as the star of three Spider-Man movies and the war film Hacksaw Ridge.

Another villager said: 'This must be one of the quietest places in Wales so to see a Hollywood film star here is quite something.

'They seem to be very happy and they're always holding hands when you see them together.

'They drink in the local pub right opposite her cottage, I think they've got quite friendly with the landlord and his wife.'

Kate's home village is a four-hour drive from London and the journey takes even longer since 20mph speed limits were introduced in Wales.

Andrew was born in LA however moved to his parents' native UK when he was just three and was brought up in Surrey - making England his home.

It now looks like Oxford-educated Kate will be swapping the rural idyll for life in the fast lane in London and LA.

Her cottage, which has a sauna in the garden, is expected to be snapped up with locals saying its Hollywood connections will cause a flurry of interest.

Kate offers readings and consultings on her site and her work has been mentioned in numerous publications including Vogue and NBC News.
