The Great British Sewing Bee final is here, with the remaining three contestants set to battle it out for the series title on BBC One.

Wednesday’s grand finale episode will see the three remaining contestants, Pascha, Luke, and Ailsa, take on a string of challenges, in their bid to be crowned series champion.

The remaining sewers will be put through their paces and will begin the final by making opera gloves. This will show their precision as they handle delicate fabrics and show off their skills.

In the second challenge, the finalist will then attempt to turn party paraphernalia into a complete party look.

In the final Made to Measure challenge, they will be asked to create a full outfit by draping fabric onto their models.

But once the champion is revealed, what do they win?

Much like The Great British Bake Off, the winner of the Great British Sewing Bee doesn’t receive a huge cash prize.

Instead, the champion is awarded a trophy and the title of Britain’s Best Amateur Sewer.

They’ll also win bragging rights, of course.

Judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young will pick which remaining contestant is victorious after all three challenges have been completed.

In order to win the competition, sewers must make it through 10 weeks of increasingly difficult sewing tasks.

Kiell Smith-Bynoe announced Pascha’s black dress for the third Chanel challenge won the Garment of the Week award in last week’s semi-final.

This could mean that Pascha’s the person to beat in the final episode. But the three contestants will have tough competition as they all compete to cinch the final title.

Tonight’s episode will also mark the end of the tenth series of the show, an exciting milestone for the beloved competition which began in April 2013.
