Shockingly good! (Twitter)

A talented fan has used the Deadpool and Wolverine Xbox controller design on their favourite video games, including Mortal Kombat and Pokémon’s Pikachu.

Unusual controller designs pop up all the time, as we’ve seen with some interesting looking ones coming out of Xbox and PlayStation’s collaborations with everything from Fallout to Yorkshire Tea.

The recent Deadpool and Wolverine controllers, however, which have you holding their oversized behinds, probably win as the most amusingly ridiculous ones so far.

Now, an inspired fan has taken the designs and run with them, using them to make mock-ups of some pretty great looking Mortal Kombat and Pikachu controllers.

BossLogic on Twitter has made new controller designs for Mortal Kombat characters Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, and Smoke.

The controllers are all unique to each other, with, for example, the Sub-Zero gamepad including icicles running down it.

One shared feature, however, is that they all come with the butt design from the Deadpool and Wolverine controllers.

The same goes for BossLogic’s Pikachu design, with also includes its tail and ears.

And finally.

The Deadpool and Wolverine controllers are an advertising ploy for Marvel’s upcoming movie, which comes out Thursday, July 25, in the UK.

The tie-in controllers are only part of a limited giveaway, which you can read about here, and won’t be available in shops.

The superhero duo is also coming to Fortnite, according to leakers, with new skins, gliders, and weapons, showing Marvel’s determination to advertise the movie to as many gamers as possible.
