Former first lady Melania Trump is set to publish her first-ever memoir this fall, which will include pictures and stories "never before shared with the public."

Titled Melania, the book will be published by Skyhorse Publishing and will be released in two versions: a "Collector's Edition" and a "Memoir Edition."

Newsweek reached out to Melania Trump via The Office of Donald J. Trump website for comment on Thursday.

The Context

Donald Trump was elected the 45th president in 2016, and during his time in the White House, former first lady Melania Trump was by his side.

Since his tenure as president ended on January 20, 2021, Melania has largely kept a low profile but appeared at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on July 15, where her husband officially became the party's nominee for the 2024 election.

She arrived at the convention at around 9 p.m. CT on July 18, her first appearance at the four-day event. A photo of her and her husband holding hands in a hallway at the RNC was posted on X, formerly Twitter, ahead of the former president's speech.

Although the Trumps have posed for pictures while holding hands in the past, they are not known for public displays of affection. Melania has been observed pulling her hand away from her husband and swatting away the gesture. On Thursday, she was also accused of "dodging" a kiss from him in a video that has gone viral.

Previously, videos of Melania reacting to Kid Rock's performance at the RNC went viral online. In one clip, it looks like she's trying not to laugh.

What We Know

The former first lady has kept relatively tight-lipped about her life and her time at the White House—until now.

"'Melania' is a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence," said a press release provided to Fox News.

"The former first lady invites readers into her world, offering an intimate portrait of a woman who has lived an extraordinary life. Melania includes personal stories and family photos she has never before shared with the public."

Melania could be returning to the White House as her husband, former President Trump, aims to make a historic comeback in November, this time against Vice President Kamala Harris, the new presumptive Democratic nominee who emerged swiftly after President Biden announced his exit from the race."

The "Collector's Edition" is a hardcover book with 256 pages in full color, and each copy is signed by the author.

The "Memoir Edition" is a 304-page jacketed hardcover book with 48 pages of never-before-seen photographs.

What's Next?

People looking to purchase the book will have to wait for its official release date, but the "Collector's Edition" is available to pre-order on MelaniaTrump.com for $150.

The "Memoir Edition" will be available for $40, and signed copies will also be available for $75. These are also available for pre-order on her website.
