Madonna set pulses racing in snaps from a risqué new photoshoot taken ahead of her  appearance at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City on Monday.

The singer, 65, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a carousel of racy images from before she took to the red carpet for a surprise appearance at the star-studded evening.

Madonna posed up a storm in an extreme-plunge busty black bodysuit, complete with fishnet stockings and gloves, black heeled boots and designer Miu Miu shades.

The star later added a stunning double-breasted black suit coat dress that fell to her mid-thigh, accessorising with a slew of diamond necklaces, including the iconic New York Yankees NY logo.

Madonna hit the red carpet at the David A. Koch Theatre with her 11-year-old twins Estere and Stella, all posing with stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

The 65-year-old pop icon took to Instagram on Thursday to share a carousel of racy images from before she took to the red carpet for a surprise appearance at the star-studded evening

She looked nothing short of sensational, posing up a storm in an extreme-plunge busty black bodysuit, complete with fishnet stockings and gloves, black heeled boots and designer Miu Miu shades

In one black and white hotel room snap before she stepped out, the singer shot a sultry look at the camera, with her voluminous blonde locks curled.

Others showed the star having a glamorous face full of makeup done and sprawled across a seat in her dressing room - she showed off her makeup bag, which was embroidered with her initial and a heart.

Finally, after a quick sunglasses change, she shared a picture of herself seated inside the cinema, ready to watch the new Marvel movie.

She captioned her Instagram post with: 'Deadpool is here …………..Oh My God! Like a Prayer - The Silver Collection release available in bio,' following the prominent use of the hit in the movie.

It comes just after the singer's 18-year-old son David Banda made some surprising comments during an Instagram Live session about his new life in The Bronx after moving out of his mother's Upper East Side apartment, which he later walked back.

He claimed he is living a humble life on his own in The Bronx, from selling guitar lessons to 'scavenging' for food due to not 'having enough money' during an Instagram Live session on Friday.

'I love it. I'm not on my own, I've got my girlfriend. But I love it,' he said at the time.

He added, 'It's lovely to experience it being nine o'clock at night, me being hungry and realising that I don't have enough money to get food and scavenging. It's fun to be young.'

The 65-year-old music legend hit the red carpet at the David A. Koch Theater in New York City on Monday with her 11-year-old twins Estere and Stella

To bring in extra funds, David notably gives guitar lessons online, and prospective students are able to book lessons off his main Instagram page - which currently boasts nearly 52k followers.

Banda then took to Instagram on Sunday, to refute the narrative that he is struggling to make ends meet since moving out of his mother's home.

'To all of those concerned, my mother is very supportive of me, she has always been supportive of me,' the artist began.

'I am very happy in my life and I am not living out on the streets, starving! Please stop worrying everything is good,' he added.

While Madonna certainly wasn't expected on the Deadpool and Wolverine red carpet in New York, it comes after it was revealed that the stars and director Shawn Levy went to The Material Girl herself for permission to use her 1989 song Like a Prayer.

'It did involve a personal visit to Madonna, where we showed Madonna the sequence where Like a Prayer would be used,' Levy, 55, told Jess Cagle on his Sirius XM show.

Ryan added, 'It was a big deal to ask for it and certainly a bigger deal to use it. We went over and met with her and sort of showed her how it was being used, and where, and why.'

He even asked one of Madonna's team members if she had a preference to how she likes to be addressed when introduced the first time.

'Like am I allowed to just say, 'Madonna?' Like, ''Hello Madonna, I'm Ryan,'' Reynolds joked.

Not only did Madonna sign off on the licensing for usage of the song, she also wrote down a few notes on where she though certain parts of Like A Prayer would be a perfect fit.

'She gave a great note,' Ryan said. 'She watched it, and I'm not kidding, [she said], 'You need to do this.' And damn it, if she wasn't like spot on.'

Levy agreed with the assessment and then they proceeded to make the change within the next two days.

'We literally went into a new recording session within 48 hours to do this note. ... It made the sequence better,' Levy added.

The songstress' twins Estere and Stella - who she adopted from Malawi in 2017 when they were just four years old - opted for more casual looks at the premiere.

Estere wore a white Everlast t-shirt with maroon shorts and white sneakers while Stella rocked a white Brooklyn jersey, dark grey jeans, black and white sneakers and a light blue baseball cap with a black purse.

The racy photoshoot follows another glamorous slew of snaps posted by the singer on Sunday after she arrived in London.

The legendary songstress wore a denim mini dress and fishnet tights while kicking back on the leather seats of a vintage 1968 Jaguar.

Accessorising her outfit with a pair of fingerless driving gloves, she also opted for a Louis Vuitton handbag.
