Princess Kate Middleton looked at ease as she appeared in an idyllic video, released to update the public on her cancer treatment.

In the candid footage, she spent time with her family, playing on the beach and having a picnic in the countryside.

The 42-year-old revealed that she has completed chemotherapy treatment, and her focus is to now ‘stay cancer-free’.

In one particularly poignant scene, Kate rests her head on William’s shoulders as he clasps her hands.

Strolling through tall grass and exploring the forest, the video showed Kate looked laid back, enjoying nature – and she opted for effortlessly stylish looks in keeping with the peaceful aesthetic.

To compliment the hazy late-summer vibes, Kate, who appeared alongside Prince William, and their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, five, wears two casual dresses, in similar colour ways.

Perhaps her stand-out ensemble is a midi dress by Veronica Beard. The blue and white, boho style look features a floral design, tiered skirt, button down neckline and puffed sleeves.

She paired it with her beloved Veja trainers in ‘Platine’, for an on-trend but casual look.

Veronica Beard is an American brand, known for it’s chic, classic styles. The Castella floral dress, which Kate wears, originally cost around £533, before being discounted to £159 in the sale.

But it’s bad news for those looking to emulate her style, as its currently sold out online.

We also see Kate wearing a simple, blue denim shirt dress, with a collar and belt at the waist, also worn with Veja trainers.

The dress is very similar to the Light Denim Petite Tie Waist Denim Shirt Dress, by Roman, although it features a different belt and is a slightly different hue.

If you want to get Kate’s look, it is a great option though, as the petite version is currently on sale for just £35.

For jewellery, Kate appears to be wearing her personalised Midnight Moon necklace by Daniella Draper, which retails for £1,300.

To finish off her style in the emotional video, Kate kept her make up minimal, and wore her hair down, in a loose wave.

The royal has kept a low profile over the past few months, after announcing her cancer diagnosis back in March.

We last saw the mum-of-three at the Wimbledon final in July. Taking to Centre Court with daughter, Charlotte, she looked elegant in a striking knee length purple dress, which she teamed with a nude bag and heels.

The dress was a customised version of the Safiyaa Cecilia Lilac Midi Dress which is currently available for £1,295.

The public are likely to be treated to more appearances from Kate, as she said in her video she would slowly be returning to public life, saying: ‘I am… looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can.’

She finished the video with a message to others who have also been affected by cancer: ‘To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey — I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.’
