Picture the scene, it is Friday night and you are swiping left and right on your phone trying to find someone to meet up with.

There’s slim pickings so you give up hope.

But what if you swapped your usual scenery and transported yourself to a location where there are a whole village of ridiculously fit athletes?

Well, clued up Londoners are cottoning onto a dating hack that will allow fast access to scores of eligible matches.

In case you haven’t guessed, they are doing this by changing their location on dating apps to Paris in the hope of bagging themselves an athlete.

Tinder users popularised this trick at the 2018 Winter Olympics and singletons are this are having another go this time around.

Influencer Sofia Elizabeth shared a TikTok video about changing her dating app location to the Olympic Village to the north of Paris and now others are following suit, with thanks.

Speaking in her video, a user said: “Whoever said to change your location to the 'Olympic Village' currently in Paris to match with an Olympian, I just wanna thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Tinder reportedly said in July, there was been an almost 20 percent increase in swipes in France, and a 103 percent increase in Passport Mode (a paid feature to change your location) to sites like Paris.
