Ukrainian forces conducted an operation in the northern Black Sea on Tuesday as part of a daring overnight raid, destroying Russian vehicles and troops, authorities said.

Ukrainian Defense Intelligence (DIU) said on Wednesday that a raid on Tendrivska Kosa, or Tendra Spit — a thin strip of land in the Black Sea which extends from Ukraine's partially occupied Kherson region — was carried out jointly by the special operations forces of the Artan active action unit and its Maritime Center.

"Scouts destroyed equipment, personnel and fortifications of the occupiers," the DIU said on Telegram.

Ukraine liberated the city of Kherson and the west bank of the Dnieper River near the end of 2022.
