A helicopter that appears to have been stolen crashed into the roof of a hotel in Australia, killing the pilot.

Queensland Police said that emergency services responded to the scene at around 1:50 a.m. on Monday morning after the twin-engine helicopter collided into the Hilton DoubleTree hotel in Cairns.

Nautilus Aviation, the company the helicopter belonged to, said it was an "unauthorized flight" and that all of its pilots had been accounted for, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.

Authorities said that investigations were underway to identify the pilot. They added that no one on the ground sustained any injuries.
