Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov has invited Elon Musk to Russia after being filmed in his new ride – a Tesla Cybertruck mounted with a machine gun.
Footage shows Vladimir Putin’s close ally – gilded with an ammunition belt around his neck – behind the gun turret bolted to the back.
In the video released on his personal Telegram channel, he is driving around the grounds of his presidential palace in the capital Grozny.
‘We received a Tesla Cybertruck from the respected Elon Musk,’ Kadyrov wrote on Saturday.
He described the armoured vehicle as ‘undoubtedly one of the best in the world,’ adding ‘I literally fell in love.’
Kadyrov said: ‘I was happy to test the new technology and personally saw that it is not by chance that it is called the ‘Cyberbeast.’
‘A real invulnerable and fast animal.’
His plans for the ‘beast’, which are to soon deploy it to the frontline in Ukraine to give Putin’s forces a boost.
‘It is not for nothing that they call this a cyberbeast,’ the dictator said. ‘I am sure that this beast will bring plenty of benefits to our troops.’
Kadyrov, who was sanctioned by the UK and US after being linked to numerous human rights violations, said he received the truck from Musk, although this was not independently confirmed.
The Chechen leader also took advantage of the his latest publicity stunt to invite the Tesla and X owner for a visit.
‘I don’t think the Russian Foreign Ministry would mind such a trip,’ Kadyrov said.
‘And, of course, we are waiting for your new developments that will help us finish our special military operation (in Ukraine).’
It remains unclear if the billionaire plans to take up Kadyrov on his invitation.
