Two British men have been arrested on suspicion of smashing up a well-known bar in Majorca and assaulting police who intercepted them as they tried to flee the scene.
The pair and a Serbian national held with them are accused of causing around £5,000 damage to the nightspot.
They are said to have gone on the rampage after being told to calm down by staff at Ritzi Lounge Bar in upmarket Puerto Portals when they began arguing amongst themselves.
They fled leaving an unpaid €80 (£67) bill before allegedly turning on police near the bar who tried to stop them after being called to deal with the incident on Wednesday night.
The two Brits were released on bail pending an ongoing investigation after being hauled in front of a judge yesterday in the same T-shirts and shorts they were wearing when they were arrested.
They had to hand over €1,000 (£845) each as a bail bond before being set free.
The Serbian national was remanded in custody after detectives discovered he was wanted on a European Arrest Warrant for an unrelated matter and is now facing extradition proceedings.
The three police officers who reported they had been assaulted by the men, aged 22 to 50, are said to have suffered minor injuries.
