The Minecraft display in the back looked a lot neater at the start of the stream (Twitch)

After 25 hours of trying to beat Minecraft on hardcore mode, streamers stars Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed had to bring in a therapist to ease the tension between the two.

While Kai Cenat is known for collaborating with mainstream celebrities, and losing £240,000 to 21 Savage playing Madden NFL 24, IShowSpeed’s popularity was recently on show when he visited Norway, where he was mobbed by fans and forced to barricade himself inside a shop to get away from them.

The two popular Twitch and YouTube streamers have now come together with the sole aim of beating Minecraft on hardcore mode, but it has proved a lot harder than they expected.

It’s been so difficult that they had a therapist come over, to help them overcome their struggles, but it turned into a complete mess.

The duo have refused to end their Minecraft marathon stream until they’ve defeated the Ender Dragon – the toughest boss in the game – on hardcore mode, which means you have to start from the beginning if you lose.

After 25 hours, on their 14th attempt – which took them six hours and a lot of arguments – they decided to bring in a therapist to help with motivation.

It’s difficult to hear most of what the therapist is saying, because Cenat and IShowSpeed were busy shouting and blaming each other.

The therapist did his best to get a word in, and can be heard telling them to calm down. But things got a lot worse when he tried to bond with them saying he had played Resident Evil for ‘hours and hours and hours’.

That triggered Cenat and IShowSpeed even more, as they destroyed the Minecraft display in the room in anger, seemingly criticising the therapist for comparing the two.

The therapist eventually calmed them down – or they just got tired from all the shouting and kicking – and managed to unite them again.

Cenat and IShowSpeed still hasn’t beaten Minecraft though, as day two of the marathon stream is now underway.

It’s not the first time the two have collaborated while streaming, as they played co-op platformer Chained Together too, which was equally frustrating for them, seeing Cenat reduced to tears at one point.
