Emmy and Golden Globe winner Brunson, 34, will receive an acting salary within the $350,000-$400,000 range for her role as teacher Janine Teagues. Brunson is currently under an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television that covers her salary as an executive producer on the show.

Golden Globe winner Williams and Emmy winner Ralph — who respectively play teachers Gregory Eddie and Barbara Howard — will be paid $250,000 per episode.

James, who plays principal Ava Coleman; Perfetti, who plays teacher Jacob Hill; and Walter, who plays teacher Melissa Schemmenti; will all be paid $200,000 per episode.

The report also noted that William Stanford Davis, who plays beloved custodian Mr. Johnson, will also receive a pay increase of about $100,000.

Abbott Elementary and its cast pulled in seven nominations at the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards, which aired Sunday, September 15. Back in 2023, Brunson won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. A year prior, Ralph won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and the show itself earned the award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.

Abbott Elementary will return for a fourth season on Wednesday, October 9 on ABC, with new episodes airing weekly. Episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the day after the original broadcast.
